Hacktober is a month-long event to join in with code contributions via git on either Github or Gitlab. Using different labels, you can find related projects to participate in. Hopefully you will learn something new, try something out that you haven’t before, and possibly have fun. To complete the challenge, you’ll need to have four successful pull requests merged in before October 31st 2024.
Upstate Women in Software Engineering is supporting this event by setting up project repositories for anyone to join in. We’ll also sett up events and resources to help you along the way.
